
Hitomi Kammai
Hitomi is a multimedia artist who was born in Tokyo and finished her studies of fine art in Japan. She begun to exhibit in Paris in 2002, and she moved into London in 2010, where she is currently based Her works are shown as a big collage of varied materials and has been exhibited in different countries.
Hitomi intends her work to make people explore the universe of the artificial, like she experienced it in Tokyo, and discover the poetry in humanities. She believes that art is not only something beautiful, nor theoretical and difficult, but it can also be touching. With the concern of this matter, her works are based on showing her ideas about human by using artificial objects such as roses, tiles or invented devices.
